OUR TIPS FOR PREPARING YOUR MATCHA
Step 1
STEP 1 - Prepare your equipment
Gather a matcha bowl, a bamboo whisk, a bamboo spoon, and a sieve, and heat the water to a maximum of 65–75°C.
Step 2
STEP 2 - Measure and sift the matcha
Sieve 1-2 teaspoons of matcha into the bowl and pour 60-70 ml of hot water over it.
Step 3
STEP 3 - Whisk your matcha mixture
Use the bamboo whisk to whisk the matcha and water in rapid "W"- or "M"-shaped strokes until smooth and frothy.
Step 4
STEP 4 - Ready to drink
Taste and adjust the amount of water to your taste, then enjoy your freshly prepared matcha drink immediately.
For added pleasure, you can also mix your preparation with the milk of your choice. Drink hot or cold.
